New Floralife® TransportCARE™ paper is a postharvest waxed tissue
specially designed and formulated for the intended use to inhibit the
premature spread of plant pathogen spores, such as Botrytis cinerea, on flowers and foliage. Botrytis cinerea is a widespread pathogen which causes a disease known as gray mold, or Botrytis blight. The host preferences of this fungus include virtually every plant grown in a greenhouse or field production. It is for use during the transport of flowers.
Growers can recognize Botrytis cinerea by the coating of grayish brown mold that forms on dead tissue when it sporulates. Wounded or older issues and flower parts are very susceptible.
Some of the crops especially prone to Botrytis blight are rose, snapdragon, lisianthus, gerbera, dahlia, zinnia, anemone, geranium, exacum, primula, bacopa, fushia, cyclamen, poinsettias, and vinca.

FM Budmagic Solution Spray For opening tight flower buds
What: Enhance the opening of tight, fresh cut flower buds, to assist in targeting design dates. Common crop use is for roses, lilies, and carnations.
Who: For Wholesalers, Bouquet Manufacturers, and Retail Florists.

Directions For Use
• Add 1 oz. (30 ml) of FM BudMagic solution to 1 gallon (3.875 L) of lukewarm water to
prepare mix. Use of metal containers for flower storage is not recommended.
• Remove all the flower foliage and re-cut flower stems 1 – 2” with a clean knife or
bunch cutter. Place the flower stems into the solution, allowing ample room for flower
bud expansion as the buds start to open. Keep stem bunches untied. Leave flower buds
in solution at room temperature for 1 – 3 days prior to designing arrangements.
• After buds open, keep refrigerated in Floralife® Crystal Clear® Flower Food solution
until needed.
• Liquid lost through evaporation should be replaced with a new batch of fresh solution.
